LOL Factory (https://lolfactory.link) is a simple meme generator operated by the site owner (“we”, “us”). You can contact us at support@lolfactory.link.

What we collect

• Usage data: page views, referrers, approximate location, device/browser info. Collected via Matomo at pulse.streamgrid.link.
• Account data (optional): email/username/password hash if you register.
• Uploads: images you upload to generate memes, and any memes you choose to publish.
• Cookies: session cookie for login; Matomo may set first-party cookies for analytics.
• Server logs: IP address and user-agent recorded for security and abuse prevention.

How we use data

• Provide the meme editor and optional gallery publishing.
• Security, abuse/spam prevention, and troubleshooting.
• Aggregate analytics to improve performance and UX. We do not sell personal data.

Published vs. private memes

If you click Download, your image is generated client-side and not listed publicly. If you click Publish, the meme and its metadata may appear in public pages, feeds, or promotional spots across our network.

Your choices

• You can use the generator without creating an account.
• You can request deletion of your account or published items: support@lolfactory.link.
• You can opt-out of Matomo analytics by using browser DNT or blocking cookies; aggregate metrics may still be collected.

Retention

Logs are typically retained for up to 90 days. Published memes may persist until removed by you or for policy reasons. Backups may retain data for a limited period.

Third parties

We host on OVH and use Matomo (self-hosted) for analytics. Links to other sites have their own policies.

Children

The service is not intended for children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date.
